Job summary

Speedy Group in Ossett is seeking a Hire Controller to join our depot operations. You will coordinate the full hire process from taking orders to delivery and collection, working closely with stock teams, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs and ensure service excellence.

Based in the depot, you will build relationships across departments and provide a high-quality customer experience, with strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to learning and development.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving license.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with all depot sections to meet customer needs and service standards.
• Work desk-based and collaborate with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Support its ESG commitments and drive continuous improvement in service.
