Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc seeks a Hire Controller on a fixed-term contract to cover long-term sickness at the Haverfordwest depot. You will coordinate the full hire process from order to delivery, liaising across the depot to ensure customer needs are met and service quality remains high.

The desk-based role involves regular liaison with stock, drivers and engineers to minimise delays, while supporting our ESG goals and opportunities for growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to develop and grow in the role.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operations role.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams to ensure customer needs are met and service is satisfactory.
