Job summary

Oak Tree Primary School in Cheadle Hulme is seeking an inspirational SENDCo to join the Senior Leadership Team. This 0.6 FTE role has no class teaching, offering you time to lead, develop provision for pupils with SEND, and drive school improvement.

The successful candidate will hold NASENCO or NPQ SENCO, work with families and external agencies, and contribute to inclusive practice within our 3FE setting, with flexible days and strong support from a stable leadership team.

Qualifications

• Qualified SENDCo with NASENCO / NPQ SENCO or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading SEND provision and raising standards.
• Strong collaboration with SLT, families, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of SEND provision as a SLT member.
• Lead staff development, training, and mentoring in SEND.
• Collaborate with families and external agencies to meet pupil needs.
• Oversee smooth transition during leadership change.
