Job summary

Oak Green School in England is seeking an outstanding SENDCo to join our happy, inclusive primary team on a part-time basis. Working alongside our SEND, senior leadership and teaching support, you will help deliver high-quality education and broaden opportunities for pupils with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of primary teaching experience, NASCO accreditation, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• An outstanding teacher with at least 3 years teaching experience across the primary phase.
• A practitioner with enthusiasm who is committed to ensuring SEND children reach their potential both personally and academically.
• An inspiring, organised practitioner who has the NASCO accreditation.
• A positive forward-thinking and pro-active team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality education and attainment for SEND pupils with the support of the SENDCo and school leadership.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEND team and SLT to implement inclusive teaching strategies.
• Contribute to the development of personalised plans and interventions for SEND learners.
