Job summary

Oakridge School in High Wycombe is seeking a passionate SENDCo for a permanent, part-time role (3 days per week) starting January 2027 or sooner if available. You will lead SEND provision, work with staff, parents and external professionals to ensure every child receives high-quality education and thrives academically and socially.

You will be a qualified teacher holding the National SENCO Award (or willing to undertake with our support) and join the Inclusion Team to shape strategic direction

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified teacher with a passion for SEND.
• Hold the National SENCO Award or be willing to undertake it with our support.
• Experience or strong commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SEND provision across the school.
• Work closely with staff, parents and external professionals to support pupils.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion Team and Wider Leadership Team to shape school strategy.
• Support colleagues to develop inclusive practice across the school.
