Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Sales Team Lead to drive growth with our largest Utility and EPC customers. You will lead the sales team, shape account strategies, and build senior-level relationships to win complex contracts.

You’ll develop a robust pipeline, forecast opportunities, and negotiate major agreements. The role requires senior sales management experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive, creative approach to delivering a carbon-neutral future.

Qualifications

• Senior sales management experience in a similar environment to Hitachi Energy.
• Proven track record of managing strategic Utility and EPC customer relationships.
• Extensive experience in leading and/or delivering complex solution-based opportunities.
• Proven customer and stakeholder management skills with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify key business drivers and interpret impact for Hitachi Energy.
• Lead the development of the sales team and shape strategies for priority accounts.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of customer strategy, buying behavior, and decision-makers.
• Lead conversations and influence at board level in internal and external forums.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at events, including round tables and panels.
• Develop a clear pipeline of opportunities and manage forecasts.
• Achieve service sales volume by selling the enterprise service portfolio.
• Participate in negotiations of major contracts to secure sales volume.
