Job summary

Hitachi Energy is expanding its sales team with a Strategic Account Manager to focus on major utilities and EPC customers. The role emphasizes building lasting relationships, strategic account planning, and delivering end-to-end solutions for a carbon-neutral future.

You will lead executive relationships, shape account strategies, and drive growth across Hitachi Energy’s service portfolio, working with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and industry opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior sales experience in a utilities, EPC, or similar environment.
• Proven ability to manage strategic customer relationships and drive growth.
• Experience developing accounts to increase lifetime value in energy sectors.
• Track record of driving business development strategies and complex solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to engage at board level.
• Strong listener, presenter and people-person with cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify key business drivers for the customer's business and Hitachi Energy.
• Lead development of sales strategies for the account and long-term plans.
• Design and implement the account plan with executive relationship strategy and coverage plans.
• Own the strategic account relationship and understand market channels and opportunities.
• Develop and share knowledge of the customer's strategy, buying behavior, and market trends.
• Lead conversations at board level and represent Hitachi Energy at industry events.
