Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the UK is seeking an experienced Relationship Director to manage a portfolio of domestic and international corporate clients with turnovers of £25m to £350m. You will build long-term relationships, act as a trusted adviser, and oversee all relationship aspects including operational and credit risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate Banking / Financial Services is essential.
• Proven ability to identify and meet customers' needs and manage complex lending requests.
• Ability to build networks across business areas with mutual trust.
• Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance is advantageous.
• Self-driven with ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in growing opportunities with existing and new-to-bank clients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for HSBC and develop the bank's profile in the local business community.
• Support customers and place their needs at the forefront of all we do, maintaining world-class standards.
• Develop new opportunities and nurture existing relationships to identify new business.
• Build a network of business introducers in the local professional community.
• Adhere to credit, operational, reputation, financial crime and regulatory risk processes.
• Collaborate with product partners to assess needs of international and domestic customers and offer suitable solutions.
