Job summary

Screwfix is seeking a Senior Commercial Strategy Manager to lead growth through strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. You will shape the category strategy, drive revenue and expand the brand presence across UK markets.

You will negotiate high-value agreements, manage key stakeholder relationships, and collaborate with Commercial Ops, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to ensure successful delivery. Hybrid working with flexible hours is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business development and partnership management within retail.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain, and consumer trends.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall business development and partnership strategy.
• Drive revenue growth targets and partnership objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities to expand market presence and profitability.
• Oversee market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions.
• Develop proposals and presentations to showcase value propositions to vendors.
• Lead client acquisition and nurture strategic partnerships with key brands and retailers.
• Negotiate high-value agreements and ensure contractual compliance.
• Visit UK key partnerships to strengthen relationships and drive growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure onboarding and service delivery.
