Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Ramsgate is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to turn data into meaningful insight and support decision making. You will work with the Working Age Data and Performance Team to drive efficiency and improve customer outcomes.

The role involves producing management information, developing analytical products with SQL, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders to influence service delivery across Working Age services.

Qualifications

• Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience developing analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
• Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
