Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer within the Working Age Services Directorate. You will turn data into insights, support evidence-based decisions and help shape data-driven initiatives across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

You will produce MI and visualisations, develop analytical products with SQL, and lead performance improvement projects while collaborating with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.

• Combine data from multiple sources to generate insights and inform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
• Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
