Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced Operational Key Account Manager for its Freight Forwarding business in the UK. You will manage a portfolio of key customers, coordinating with Operations and Commercial teams to deliver tailored air, ocean and road freight solutions, while identifying opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Significant experience within the freight forwarding industry.
• Operational freight forwarding experience is highly desirable.
• Experience managing customer relationships within logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain.
• Proven ability to grow strategic customer accounts.
• Experience analysing operational and commercial data to support decision-making.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Work closely with operations to ensure service commitments are achieved.
• Identify opportunities to deliver value-added logistics and freight forwarding solutions.
• Support growth by increasing DP World's share of customer spend and expanding into new trade lanes.
• Prepare and present service proposals addressing customer requirements.
• Lead customer reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
