Job summary

WR Logistics in London Heathrow is seeking a Commercial Sales Director to lead the strategic development of the freight forwarding business. The role combines high-level commercial leadership with hands-on business development across multimodal solutions, including sea, air, and road.

You will report to the MD/Group CEO and shape the commercial strategy while driving revenue growth and securing major accounts.

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-modal freight forwarding background.
• Proven track record in senior sales or business development.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the commercial sales strategy for Heathrow operation.
• Identify, target and win new business across multimodal freight (sea, air, road).
• Build senior-level relationships with key customers and prospects.
• Drive revenue and margins across existing and new accounts.
• Collaborate with operations and senior management to ensure successful implementations.
• Shape commercial strategy beyond the traditional sales pipeline.
• Oversee negotiations and the full sales cycle from prospecting to account development.
