This senior business development role focuses on proactively creating opportunities, building a robust pipeline and shaping propositions with our multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in business development, client development, account management or consultative sales within engineering/product design/technical services.
• Experience selling to multinational organisations and winning consulting/engineering/R&D programmes.
• Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, procurement, proposals and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop New Business: proactively identify, target and win engineering consultancy opportunities.
• Build a Qualified Pipeline: research targets, open new accounts and maintain a healthy pipeline with multinational clients.
• Manage the Full Sales Cycle: lead opportunities from discovery to contract award.
• Understand Client Needs: explore commercial, technical and regulatory context to uncover pain points.
• Shape Technical Propositions: collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop credible solutions.
• Build Trusted Relationships: engage R&D, innovation leaders, procurement and executives across multinational organisations.
• Grow Strategic Accounts: identify follow-on opportunities and long-term partnerships.
• Represent eg technology: attend conferences and events to strengthen market presence.
• Maintain Commercial Discipline: use CRM, provide forecasts and support go/no-go decisions.
