MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in Specialty Products across the Americas and Europe. The role focuses on engaging OEMs, brand owners, engineers, and ecosystem partners to create demand and convert opportunities into revenue.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years in BD/PM/Marketing leadership, and a strong track record of influencing material specifications and driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years in Business Development, Product Management, Strategic Marketing, or Commercial Leadership.
• Minimum 7 years of technical, engineering, application development, or industry experience.
• Proven success delivering growth within Industrial, Medical, Consumer Electronics, White Goods, Advanced Materials, Electronics, or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to influence customer specifications and drive commercialization of new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the Specialty Products growth strategy across targeted markets and customers.
• Create and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with strategic growth objectives.
• Identify and pursue new applications, markets, and customers that leverage the FSSS portfolio.
• Drive specification activities at OEMs and key influencers to create pull-through demand.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with engineering, product management, purchasing, and executive leadership teams.
• Lead strategic business reviews and opportunity planning processes.
• Assist in the development of go-to-market strategies for new products and technologies.
• Build and maintain accurate opportunity pipelines within Atlas CRM.
• Develop opportunity capture plans and commercialization strategies.
• Monitor project progress from concept through production launch.
• Drive accountability for opportunity conversion and revenue realization.
• Train and mentor commercial teams on Specialty Product applications and value-selling techniques.
• Provide customer and market insights to support broader business development efforts.
• Help identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities across regions.
