Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in London to drive growth across our Building business in the South East. You will identify, secure, and manage new opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders to expand our regional footprint.

You will work closely with senior leadership and project teams to shape strategy, monitor market trends, and represent the company at events and meetings to enhance its profile.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development within construction or related industry.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK construction market, procurement routes and key frameworks.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage opportunities through CRM systems.
• Proactive, collaborative approach across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, framework partners and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline from opportunity to project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to inform strategy.
• Represent the business at networking events and client meetings to improve profile.
