Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager in Exeter to drive sustainable growth across our Building business in the South West. You will identify and secure new opportunities, develop strategic client relationships, and support regional growth through close collaboration with leadership, pre-construction and operations teams.

Proven experience in business development within the construction sector or related industry.
Track record of winning work and developing long-term client relationships.
Excellent knowledge of the UK construction market, procurement routes and frameworks.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across public and private sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and framework partners.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
Represent the business at networking events and client meetings to enhance reputation.
