Job summary

James Fisher Fendercare is seeking a Business Development Executive to identify new opportunities and strengthen client partnerships. You will work with prospective and existing customers to understand needs and deliver value, with travel as required.

You will collaborate across the business, demonstrate commercial awareness, and play a key role in expanding market presence while maintaining strong data and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or similar role.
• Good understanding of sales and marketing principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage enquiries from receipt through to quotation and order conversion.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals and commercial offers.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales, and opportunity data in company systems.
• Support development and delivery of business development strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
