Job summary

Lawson Fuses is seeking a Global Business Development Lead to drive commercial growth across international markets. You will lead regional teams in the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, shaping the strategy and engaging senior stakeholders.

The role requires significant international travel up to 50% and a hybrid work setup based at the Newcastle upon Tyne HQ, reporting to the GM/Business Head. A strong track record in fusegear or related sectors is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Business, Engineering or related field.
• MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Total experience: 12–15+ years in commercial roles including 5+ years in leadership with dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global commercial growth strategies across key markets.
• Lead international sales and marketing teams to drive revenue and market share.
• Oversee marketing plans and demand generation aligned with growth objectives.
• Engage senior customers and partners, shaping strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and govern monthly/quarterly/annual business updates.
