Our client based in Lymington has an immediate requirement for an experienced Stores Technician to join their busy team.

You will be required to help within the stores department, responsible for receiving and inspection of goods coming in against purchase orders, mechanical drawings and component specifications.
Picking, packing and dispatching of goods. Control of materials within the stores department and other general stores duties. Good communication, organization and IT skills are essential.

Main duties to include:

• Goods receiving, booing in and inspection.
• To ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Correctly labelling and storing of goods.
• Kit picking and material issuing.
• Packing and labelling of finished goods.
• Inventory counting and stock rotation.
• Dispatching finished items in a timely manner.
• Production of all export documentation.
• Maintaining stock levels to ensure physical and MRP are accurate.

Applicants must have previous warehouse / stores experience and must be able to get to work in Lymington. You must also have good computer literacy and IT skills. A valid forklift license would be a distinct advantage.

There is an immediate start available for this permanent position, the hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 08:00 am till 16:00 pm with flexibility for an early finish on Friday on a rotational basis. Starting salary will be £25,000 increasing to £25,300 per annum after 6-month probation; once competent in all aspects of the role the salary can increase to £27,200 per annum.
