Job summary

A dynamic manufacturing firm is looking for a Stores Person to manage stock control and quality documentation. The ideal candidate should have experience in warehouse roles, particularly within regulated environments like manufacturing. Responsibilities include processing stock, maintaining BOM lists, and managing quality documentation. Strong organisational and time-management skills are essential. A forklift license is preferred but not mandatory. This is a full-time position with a salary of £30,000 per annum in Little London.

Location: Park Royal

Salary: £30,000 per annum (flexible depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm or 7:00am - 4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am - 12:30pm

Overview

My client is seeking a well-organised Stores Person with strong stock control and warehouse experience. Previous exposure to Quality Assurance (QA) or a regulated manufacturing/engineering environment would be highly advantageous and someone who is well organised with management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Stores & Stock Control
  • Goods In and Goods Out processing
  • Creation and maintenance of BOM lists
  • Batch number creation and control
  • Cure date and batch control of stock as required
  • Desiccant booking in and out
  • BLD and general stock part re-ordering based on minimum stock levels
  • Raising purchase orders for stock and consumables
  • Annual stock checks and ongoing cycle counts
  • Stock valuation support for year-end audit
Quality & Documentation
  • Handling and checking COAs, material certificates, and calibration certificates
  • Scanning, checking, and filing documentation during booking-in process
  • Raising quality issues and isolating non-conforming stock
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environment preferred
  • QA or quality documentation experience is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Confident using inventory systems and basic IT tools
  • Forklift licence (reach and counterbalance) preferred but not essential (limited daily use; this is not a full-time FLT role)
