Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd invites a Shift Leader to join our UK stores. You will coach the team to deliver an effortless shopping experience, lead shifts, and support the Store Manager with daily operations and community initiatives.

You’ll champion customer service, maintain a clean store, and optimise stock replenishment while ensuring safety and great colleague relations across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Able to role model great customer service ensuring customers needs are met.
• Able to build strong long lasting relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit.
• A clear communicator to keep the team well informed.
• Confident in taking the lead when in charge of the store.
• Flexible in the way you think and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Open/close the store and cover shifts to protect customers and colleague safety.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support the Store Manager with events and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products customers care about.
• Ensure POS and shelf labels reflect correct stock and pricing.
• Manage queues and deliver a great shopping trip for customers.
