Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, seeks a Shift Leader to drive daily store operations and lead a fast-paced team. You will own shifts, coach colleagues, and strive to exceed customer expectations through hands-on guidance and proactive problem-solving.

You’ll ensure safety, manage stock and queues, and foster an inclusive environment while delivering high service standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a small team during shifts.
• Strong customer service focus and problem solving.
• Ability to manage stock, queues and store safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Open/close the store and complete duty cover with safety in mind.
• Act as the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support the Store Manager to coordinate seasonal, community and charity events.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products that matter to customers.
• Manage queues to deliver a great shopping trip.
• Balance service and replenishment across store areas.
• Coordinate colleagues to meet daily priorities and breaks.
