Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations and lead a team on duty shifts. You will coordinate colleagues, ensure a clean, safe environment, and deliver outstanding customer service with practical, hands-on coaching.

You will drive store performance, manage stock and POS readiness, and support the Store Manager with events and customer initiatives. The role emphasizes safety, service, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver a smooth shopping trip for customers.
• Open/close the store and cover duty shifts with safety in mind.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of Store Manager.
• Support Store Manager with events and maintain a welcoming store.</br>Ensure store is clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of key products and accurate shelf labeling.
• Handle customer queries promptly and ensure a positive experience.
• Manage queues and breaks to align with trade patterns while keeping staff informed.
