Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Shift Leader for our busy retail environment. You will run duty shifts, coordinate a team to maintain a clean, well-stocked store and continually improve customer service.

You will lead on-the-job coaching, monitor store performance, and implement practical actions to improve efficiency and safety for both customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in retail or fast-paced service.
• Ability to coordinate shifts and guest-facing service while ensuring store safety.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop colleagues.
• Customer-focused approach with drive to improve service and operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean and full store that meets customer needs.
• Open/close the store and complete duty cover, ensuring decisions are right for customers and safety.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager for day-to-day queries.
• Support the Store Manager to coordinate seasonal, community and charity events.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented; prioritise replenishment of key products.
• Balance service and replenishment, and manage queues to deliver a great shopping trip.
