Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily store operations and deliver an outstanding shopping experience for customers. You will coordinate colleagues, manage opening/closing duties, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the store.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, prioritise replenishment, handle customer queries, and drive improvements to create a welcoming community hub. This role requires flexibility, leadership, and a strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip for customers.
• Open/close the store and complete duty cover, ensuring decisions prioritise safety and customer service.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager for daily queries.
• Support the Store Manager in coordinating seasonal, community and charity events.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products important to customers.
• Ensure POS and shelf labels reflect best practice and price accuracy.
• Take action for any overcharges and prevent recurrence.
• Manage queues in store to deliver a great shopping trip for customers.
• Coordinate colleagues to meet daily priorities and manage breaks.
