Job summary

Tesco is recruiting a Shift Lead to supervise store operations and lead the team in delivering a great customer experience. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day queries and help maintain a positive, inclusive work environment.

Hours are scheduled within the availability windows shown, with a minimum of 16 hours per week. You must be 18 or over, and you may work shifts of varying lengths including options around 12 hours. Flexible working is available.

Qualifications

• 18+ age requirement
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment leadership
• Strong service mindset and communication skills
• Clear communicator and role model for the team

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great in-store customer experience
• Working across all areas of the store and assisting colleagues with day-to-day queries
• Building positive, inclusive relationships to help colleagues perform at their best
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and modelling great service
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve customers, communities and the planet better
