Anthropologie Europe is seeking a Service and Selling Manager to lead service, selling and styling in our Guildford store. The role focuses on developing colleagues, collaborating with partners, and supporting store operations and visual standards to create an engaging shopping environment.

The position emphasises leadership in customer experience, styling initiatives, and events that nurture customer relationships while driving sales. A strong retail management background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management role within a fast-paced, customer‑focused retail environment.
• Ability to impact sales, payroll and stock loss metrics.
• Proven track record of developing and mentoring a team.
• Strong problem solving and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sells culture: leads the team to drive sales and set goals using KPIs.
• Teaches omni-channel service to provide a frictionless customer experience with in‑store tech.
• Delivers elevated in‑store styling and personalised service for customers.
• Hosts and guides events to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales.
• Leads CEM training and development to prioritise service and sales outcomes.
• Drives stylist program to build relationships and mentor associates.
• Assists in talent identification, hiring and onboarding for succession.
• Facilitates training sessions to develop selling and styling skills.
• Collaborates with store leadership to forecast sales and optimise peak hours.
• Oversees store operations including opening/closing, restock, cleanliness and loss prevention.
• Manages product flow from receipt to floor placement and back‑of‑house organisation.
• Oversees omni service standards and brand consistency across processes.
• Shares product knowledge and brand messaging with the team.
• Sets individual sales goals and expectations to foster a collaborative selling environment.
• Conveys customer feedback to inform strategic product moves and team communication.
