Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting Retail Security Officers for Asda in the UK. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a safe shopping environment and deterring crime. The position requires flexible hours including mornings, evenings and weekends, and the pay rate is £13.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering Customer Service
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking
• Adaptable communication style for diverse groups
• Ability to work in a fast-moving services business
• Capability in the use of technology
• Good attention to detail
• High level of enthusiasm and passion
• Public Space Surveillance SIA licence is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service
• Be clean, tidy and properly dressed in full uniform
• Deter violence and public order offences
• Conduct patrols of the store
• Utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Liaise with store management teams
• Report incidents and crime through our technology
• Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to reduce crime in store
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety
