Job summary

Clarks Outlet in the United Kingdom is seeking a confident, hands-on Sales & Service Manager to support the Store Manager in running the store and leading the sales team to achieve commercial targets. You will deputise for the Store Manager when required and set a standard of excellent customer service and sales discipline across the shop floor.

You’ll coach and develop colleagues, maintain Visual Merchandising standards, monitor CSAT insights, and ensure tasks are organised to protect sales.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience with team leadership
• Strong coaching skills
• Clear communicator who can give direction and motivation
• Ability to inspire a store team with pride, energy and professionalism
• Experience with people processes and team development
• Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets
• Proactive with strong organisation to manage tasks autonomously
• Good commercial sense and IT proficiency
• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising practices

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate selling behaviours and lead the sales team to achieve KPIs
• Support Store Manager to coach and develop the team to hit targets
• Oversee the sales floor and maintain a great environment for shopping
• Use CSAT insights to improve customer experience and operations
• Assist in store operations and Visual Merchandising to uphold standards
• Upskill in product knowledge to drive sales
• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet business needs while protecting sales and service
• Provide regular feedback to motivate and improve performance
• Support Store Manager with people issues to avoid escalation
• Build capability to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
