Clarks in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Sales & Service Manager to support the Store Manager and lead the sales team in achieving commercial objectives. You will deputise during the Store Manager’s absence and drive a first-class shopping experience.

Success will hinge on your ability to coach staff, maintain strong floor leadership, optimise visuals and merchandising, and deliver consistently high customer satisfaction. You’ll foster a positive, energetic store environment.

• Proven retail management experience with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong coaching and people-development skills.
• Clear communicator who motivates and guides a team.
• Organised with ability to prioritise tasks and manage store operations.
• Proficient with in-store IT systems and Visual Merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent selling behaviours, role model to the sales team.
• Support the Store Manager to engage, coach and develop the team to meet targets.
• Oversee the sales floor and maintain a great shopping environment.
• Review CSAT insights to improve customer experience and store operations.
• Support store operations and Visual Merchandising to deliver best practice retail standards.
• Upskill in product knowledge to drive sales.
• Organise and prioritise tasks to meet business needs while protecting sales.
• Provide regular feedback to motivate and improve performance.
• Assist in managing people issues to avoid escalation.
• Build capability to cover store in Store Manager absence.
