Job summary

Clarks is seeking a Sales & Service Manager to support the Store Manager in all store operations and to lead the sales team to meet commercial objectives. You will deputise in absence of the Store Manager and drive customer service and sales performance.

You will coach, motivate and develop the team, oversee visual merchandising and floor activity, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment while delivering the store's targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a retail team to meet targets
• Strong coaching and development skills for team growth
• Excellent communication to provide clarity and direction
• Organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage store operations
• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising principles and store presentation

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to manage all store operations and lead the sales team to achieve commercial objectives.
• Deputise Store Manager in their absence.
• Demonstrate selling behaviours and role-model best practice for the team.
• Coach and develop team members to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Oversee floor control and ensure a great shopping environment.
• Utilise CSAT insights to improve customer experience and operations.
• Support with store visuals and merchandising standards.
• Upskill the team on product knowledge to drive sales.
• Provide regular feedback to motivate and improve performance.
