Sainsbury's Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager – Convenience to lead daily operations and drive customer service excellence. You will oversee a store team, manage performance, and ensure efficient, safe service for customers in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role offers full-time hours as a secondment with a fixed end date of 30 April 2027, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in line management within a fast-paced, service-focused retail setting.
• Ability to coach teams to deliver excellent customer service and meet KPIs.
• Track record of running store operations and balancing customer needs with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with a small team of managers to make sure the store runs like clockwork every day.
• Taking responsibility for the day to running of the store, often being the only manager in with accountability for the full shop.
• Work alongside a team to complete all tasks, ensuring our customers are served efficiently and safely.
• People management is also big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
• Where we have close knit networks of convenience stores it may mean that you need to help another store now and then.
