Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited in Strathaven is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager for our Strathaven Store. This is a full-time permanent role, based on site, with a salary of £31,700 and a focus on delivering excellent store operations and customer service.

You will lead a small team of managers, drive availability and safety, coach colleagues, and own day-to-day running of the shop. There is potential to support other stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Proven line management responsibilities.
• Ability to deliver KPIs and performance targets.
• Strong customer service and coaching skills.
• Experience handling employee relations and disciplinaries.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to run the store smoothly.
• Own day-to-day running of the store, often sole manager with accountability for full shop.
• Ensure tasks are completed and customers are served efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, scheduling and pay; conduct disciplinaries as needed.
• Be prepared to support another store in the network when required.
