Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Shift Leader to join its Hartlepool store. You will run duty shifts, coordinate a team, and ensure the store is clean, well presented and ready for customers.

You'll lead by example, coach colleagues on service, safety, and operations, and act as the go-to person in the Store Manager's absence while delivering a great shopping trip for the community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community
• Opening/closing the store and completing duty cover, ensuring safety and customer care
• Act as go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager
• Support Store Manager with seasonal/community events and a welcoming environment
• Maintain store cleanliness, neat presentation, and stock replenishment
• Manage queues and ensure efficient customer flow
