Job summary

One Stop in Ely, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Shift Leader to join our fast-paced retail team. You will take ownership of store activities by running duty shifts, coordinating a team to deliver a clean and full store that exceeds customer expectations.

You will coach colleagues on the job, focus on service improvements, monitor store performance, and ensure safety and security. You will act as the go-to person for day-to-day queries in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail supervisory or shift-lead role.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate shifts.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Commitment to store operations, safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and manage duty cover, ensuring customer safety.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-presented store.
• Act as the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Support Store Manager with seasonal, community and activities.
• Prioritise replenishment to meet customer needs and stock levels.
• Coach colleagues on service standards and process improvements.
