Sainsbury’s Woolton Store in Liverpool is seeking an experienced manager to lead daily store operations and a small management team. You will drive excellent customer service, coach colleagues, and ensure KPIs are met, including performance and discipline where needed.

The role involves sole accountability for store running in the absence of senior managers and delivering safe, efficient service to customers every day.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching others.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership with store-wide accountability, even solo at times.

Responsibilities

• Work with a small team of managers to run the store smoothly every day.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day store operations and be the primary manager when needed.
• Lead tasks to ensure customers are served efficiently and safely.
• Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, and payroll accuracy.
• Support nearby stores within network when required.
