Job summary

Sainsbury's Woolton Store in Liverpool is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager to lead daily store operations and team performance. You’ll oversee the store’s day-to-day, ensuring exceptional service, safety, and efficiency. This role requires hands-on leadership and accountability for the shop's performance.

Salary starts at £31,700 with benefits and opportunities to contribute to a busy retail environment in the Woolton area.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Delivers excellent customer service and coaches a team to do the same.
• Keeps KPIs and performance indicators in focus to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a small team of managers to make sure the store runs like clockwork every day.
• Taking responsibility for the day to day running of the store, often being the only manager in with accountability for the full shop.
• Work alongside a team to complete all tasks, ensuring our customers are served efficiently and safely.
• People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
• Where we have close knit networks of stores it may mean you need to help another store now and then.
