Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a large, busy supermarket and guide a team of managers and colleagues. You’ll ensure outstanding store performance, champion excellent service, and deliver strong financial results while maintaining a focus on customer experience and community presence.

You will manage change, coach others, and uphold HR policies as you drive improvements to the customer journey and store operations daily.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering brilliant customer experiences and improving customer journeys.
• Proven ability to lead an operation end-to-end with accountability for customer, financial and team outcomes.
• Strong leadership, coaching and development of managers and colleagues.
• Ability to use data and insight to shape long-term plans and drive KPI improvements.
• Comfort handling complex people matters, including dismissals, with fair HR practices.
• Ability to lead through change while maintaining team wellbeing and engagement.
