Job summary

Kate Spade New York, part of the Tapestry portfolio, seeks an Assistant Store Leader to drive store productivity through leadership, coaching, and omnichannel sales. You will set the tone on the sales floor, empower the team, and create an inclusive environment where associates can thrive as their authentic selves.

You will recruit, coach, and develop talent, monitor KPIs, and partner with corporate teams to optimize strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion/lifestyle or similar.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiar with retail systems.
• Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly.
• Excellent English language proficiency (EU).

Responsibilities

• Lead client-focused, high-energy selling and service standards.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; coach performance.
• Own store sales plans, forecast and action plans across channels.
• Maintain brand visuals and store operating standards.
• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and loss prevention; manage staffing.
