Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to partner with the Store Leader, driving store productivity and profitability through leadership, coaching, and operational excellence. You will set the tone on the sales floor and elevate service across channels.

You will recruit, coach, and develop a diverse team, manage KPIs, and oversee scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention while ensuring brand standards and a premium shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion/lifestyle or similar.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with retail systems.
• Ability to analyze selling reports and identify trends.
• Strong English language proficiency (EU).

Responsibilities

• Model service behaviors and lead a client-focused environment.
• Drive omni-channel selling and clienteling through loyalty programs.
• Recruit, onboard and develop diverse talent with coaching on performance.
• Own store sales plans and forecast; partner with teams to optimize strategies.
• Maintain brand standards and an impeccable store environment.
• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, schedules, and loss prevention.
