Job summary

Boots is seeking an Assistant Manager in Eastbourne to lead a team on the shop floor, drive customer care, and support pharmacy services. You will role model strong customer focus, safety and compliance while delivering strong commercial results.

You will coach team members, manage rotas, and ensure the store runs smoothly day-to-day, stepping in for leadership as needed and working to grow the business and customer trust.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to drive performance and deliver results.
• Strong organizational skills with rota planning and workload prioritisation.
• Understanding of compliance, safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team on the shop floor, coaching and guiding performance.
• Ensure high standards of customer care and store presentation.
• Manage day-to-day running: planning, scheduling, staffing and workload prioritisation.
• Monitor stock, loss prevention and audits to maintain store controls.
• Use data and reports to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
