Job summary

Boots is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and coach a store team, delivering excellent customer care and commercial performance. You’ll manage rotas, compliance checks and daily operations while supporting safe, welcoming experiences for customers and patients.

The role offers hands-on leadership with opportunities to develop into wider retail or pharmacy leadership paths across Boots.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to drive performance and results.
• Strong organisational skills with rota planning and workload management.
• Understanding of compliance, safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for stock availability, cost control and loss prevention.
• Lead in the absence of Store Leader and drive store performance.
