Job summary

Boots is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team on the shop floor, coaching and supporting staff while role-modeling high standards of care and commercial performance. You’ll help customers and patients find solutions, ensure safe and compliant pharmacy services, and drive day-to-day store running.

You’ll balance people, performance and operations, owning rotas, staffing and workloads while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to coach others and manage performance.
• Strong organisational skills including rotas and workload prioritisation.
• Understanding of compliance, safety and store standards.
• Willingness to work towards Pharmacy qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use data and in-store insight to identify opportunities and act.
