Boots UK in Bolton is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team on the shop floor, delivering great customer care and strong commercial performance.

You’ll coach and develop colleagues, plan rotas, manage day-to-day store operations and ensure compliance, safety and audits, while owning stock and loss prevention to drive results. There are opportunities to specialise in operations, beauty or pharmacy, with a clear path to higher leadership roles and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to own performance and drive results.
• Inspire, coach others and manage performance.
• Strong organisational skills: rotas, absence, workload.
• Understand compliance, safety and operational standards.
• Collaborative team player with data-driven decision making.
• Experience in a pharmacy/regulated retail is plus.
