Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Loughton is seeking a Store Manager to drive customer experience, oversee store operations and lead teams across front-of-house and back-of-house functions. You will coach staff, manage performance, and ensure payroll accuracy while delivering on store KPIs.

Joining a busy, high-volume retail environment, you’ll work to maintain excellent standards, lead by example, and nurture a culture of service excellence for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Track record of delivering against KPIs (sales, stock, customer satisfaction).

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for overall customer experience across the store from checkout to back of house.
• Manage the front-end checkout operation and ensure customers are served to expectations.
• Oversee operations in the petrol station where applicable.
• Lead people management including performance, disciplinaries, scheduling and payroll accuracy.
• Occasionally assume overall store responsibility to direct and support colleagues.
