A regional health board in Wales is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse for Fernhill and Dinas Wards. This role involves providing high-quality patient-centered care within a multi-disciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for band 5 Staff Nurses to join our forward-thinking nursing team on Fernhill and Dinas ward at Ysbyty George Thomas Hospital.
The hospital supports patients with complex care needs and Dementia.
Fernhill and Dinas wards provide a safe environment where patients receive discharge planning assessments, along with supported care while waiting to return home or to their new discharge destination.
Our commitment is to undertake ongoing training and development . We offer ward-based training so you should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change.

The Health Board currently operate a number of different shift systems. The most common are a 12.5 hour shift, inclusive of either one 30 minute or two 30-minute unpaid breaks. These shift patterns are subject to review and the Health Board reserves the right to change working arrangements.
