A prominent teaching hospital in the UK is seeking a Staff Nurse to join their Gynaecology team. This full-time role involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various gynaecological procedures. Ideal candidates should have NMC registration and excellent communication skills. We are looking to appoint a Staff Nurse to join our Gynaecology team on Daphne Ward, The Rosie Hospital. We have substantive Band 5 RGN posts working a mixture of long days and nights, Monday-Sunday. Daphne Ward is a 14 in-patient bedded ward with 5 day patient beds. Patients are admitted for elective Benign/Reproductive Gynaecology surgery, Gynaecology Oncology, Urogynaecological surgery, and emergency Gynaecological surgery. The ward provides a bay of 4 beds and a separate side room for women having medical management of miscarriage or medical management for termination of pregnancy up to 18 weeks.
To provide a high standard of safe individualised, holistic and evidence-based patient focused care in consultation with the patient, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
