Overview

The Oncology and Haematology Day Treatment Unit is located in the Queens Centre at CHH and operates Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm. The unit provides dedicated care for patients with malignant and non‑malignant oncological and haematological diseases, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and intravenous therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care during duty periods.
  • Develop cannulation, CVAD and chemotherapy administration skills.
  • Provide multidisciplinary communication and support patients between ward and clinic areas.
  • Advise, train and supervise junior staff, ensuring best practice and quality standards.

Training and Mentorship
