Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a SSG Driver within the Test Team of the Civil Aerospace Assembly & Test organisation in Derby. The role is part of the Production Test Department, reporting to the Production Leaders. The department rigs and tests both new‑build and MRO engines.

What you will be doing:
  • Drive a variety of plant equipment to move test kit.
  • Prepare engine runners for rigging and derigging.
  • Manage oils across the beds.
  • Maintain and clean test slave equipment.
  • Fuel engine transporters.
Preferred Requirements
  • Safety‑first mindset and can‑do attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience driving plant equipment and, if possible, qualification as a driver trainer.
  • Professional, flexible attitude with clear communication at all levels.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of health, safety and environmental procedures, including COSHH.
